Description
A juicy, flavor-packed burger bursting with creamy white cheddar and fresh spinach, perfect for any cookout or casual dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground turkey or chicken (or substitute with beef)
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese (or any cheese you prefer)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (gluten-free if desired)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Hamburger buns of your choice
- Your favorite toppings (lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc.)
Instructions
- Combine ground meat, spinach, cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently with your hands until everything is evenly combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 to 6 equal-sized patties, depending on how thick you want your burgers.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Optional: Top each patty with extra cheese in the final minute of cooking, then cover to melt.
- Toast the buns and build your burger with your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.
Notes
Avoid overmixing the meat to keep the burgers tender. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month. Try spicing them up with a pinch of cumin or smoked paprika!
