- 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened (or substitute with Greek yogurt)
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh herbs (dill or parsley) for garnish
- Pita chips or fresh veggie sticks, for serving
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine feta, cream cheese, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy. For best results, stream the olive oil in while blending.
- Taste and adjust the flavor; add more lemon juice for tang or crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
- Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve with pita chips or vegetables.
Notes
To enhance the flavor, blend in sun-dried tomatoes or roasted red peppers. This dip can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to three days. Stir before serving. Serve warm pita for a special touch.
