Velveeta Beef Pasta Delight

  • Author: Navy Sinclair
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings 1x

Description

A cozy and creamy pasta dish made with hearty beef, melty Velveeta cheese, and comforting flavors that make every bite feel like home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (or preferred shape)
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups beef broth (or chicken broth)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz, fire-roasted optional)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat once fully cooked.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a separate pot, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  5. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese to the skillet and let it melt slowly until smooth and creamy.
  6. Stir in the cooked pasta, coating it well in the cheese and beef mixture. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.
  7. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

To add a little heat, sprinkle red pepper flakes into the sauce. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat beautifully. For another comfort classic, try the Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole.
