- 12 oz spaghetti or pasta of your choice
- 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta following package directions. Drain, saving 1 cup of pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak strips and cook 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Reduce heat and stir in soy sauce, honey, Sriracha, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 1 minute.
- Return steak to skillet and coat with sauce.
- Add cooked pasta, tossing well. Use reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
- Serve topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate steak in soy sauce and honey for an hour before cooking. Add more Sriracha or chili flakes if you like extra heat. Toss in vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for added nutrition.
