Sweet Spicy Baked Cauliflower

  • Author: Navy Sinclair
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 68 servings 1x

Description

A flavorful side dish made with roasted cauliflower tossed in a tangy, sweet-spicy glaze. It’s perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, chopped into florets (serves 6–8)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or minced fresh garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) for optimal roasting and caramelization.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, honey or maple syrup, sriracha, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add cauliflower florets and toss thoroughly to coat them in the glaze.
  4. Spread cauliflower in a single layer on a lined baking sheet, ensuring pieces aren’t overcrowded.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and tender.
  6. Remove from oven, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve warm.

Notes

To add some crunch, top with toasted seeds or nuts after roasting. Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat nicely in the oven. For a twist, sprinkle cheese during the last few minutes of baking.
