Description
This Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert Delight blends rich cheesecake, fresh strawberries, and a buttery graham cracker crust into a treat that’s both elegant and crowd-pleasing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam (for glaze)
- Fresh strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter, then press into the base of a greased 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. Add vanilla extract and blend again.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing on low just until combined. Stir in sour cream and pureed strawberries until mixture is smooth.
- Pour filling over crust and smooth out the top. Bake for 55-60 minutes until center is set with a gentle wobble.
- Let cheesecake cool in the pan for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, warm the strawberry jam slightly and drizzle over the cheesecake. Top with fresh strawberries.
Notes
Bring all ingredients to room temperature before mixing to ensure a smooth batter. Swap in Greek yogurt for sour cream or use a nut-based crust for a healthier spin. Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days.
