- 1 pound of steak (sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 pound of medium shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 red bell pepper (cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 1 green bell pepper (cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 1 onion (cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (soaked if wooden)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss steak and shrimp with olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high. Thread steak, shrimp, and veggies alternately onto skewers.
- Grill skewers for 5–7 minutes on each side, turning occasionally, until steak reaches desired doneness and shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Remove from grill and let rest a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Don’t crowd the skewers—leave space between each item for even cooking. Avoid overcooking shrimp as they can become rubbery. Try adding mushrooms or cherry tomatoes for variety.
