Description

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until garlic is fragrant but not browned.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  3. Stir in lemon juice and zest, and cook for an additional minute to combine flavors. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra spice, increase the red pepper flakes. Watch shrimp closely, they cook fast! Fresh garlic is essential for the best flavor.
