- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the edamame pods and cook for 4–5 minutes until tender but still firm. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, just until fragrant.
- Add the cooked edamame to the skillet. Pour in sesame oil, soy sauce, and red chili flakes. Stir well and cook for another 2–3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Finish with a pinch of salt and a splash of lemon juice. Serve warm.
Notes
Use a garlic press for a finer mince. For more spice, toss in a bit of cayenne or your favorite hot sauce. Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat before enjoying.
