Description

Looking for a dish that brings comfort and flavor together in one plate? This Savory Beef Linguine is a satisfying pasta recipe featuring tender beef strips and a rich garlic-infused sauce, perfect for family dinners or cozy evenings at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced (sirloin works too)
  • 12 ounces linguine pasta
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced (choose your favorite color)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine following the package directions until al dente. Save 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add sliced beef and coat well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened and fragrant, about 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add marinated beef to the skillet. Stir-fry until browned and cooked through, around 5–7 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cooked linguine and pour in some reserved pasta water to make the sauce silky. Combine well and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve warm, topped with fresh parsley. Enjoy right away for the best flavor.

Notes

For a veggie boost, toss in steamed broccoli or snap peas. Leftovers reheat well; just add a splash of water to bring back the moisture. You can also switch things up by trying teriyaki or hoisin sauce for a different twist.
