Description
Looking for a dish that brings comfort and flavor together in one plate? This Savory Beef Linguine is a satisfying pasta recipe featuring tender beef strips and a rich garlic-infused sauce, perfect for family dinners or cozy evenings at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced (sirloin works too)
- 12 ounces linguine pasta
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (choose your favorite color)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook linguine following the package directions until al dente. Save 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add sliced beef and coat well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened and fragrant, about 3–5 minutes.
- Add marinated beef to the skillet. Stir-fry until browned and cooked through, around 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked linguine and pour in some reserved pasta water to make the sauce silky. Combine well and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve warm, topped with fresh parsley. Enjoy right away for the best flavor.
Notes
For a veggie boost, toss in steamed broccoli or snap peas. Leftovers reheat well; just add a splash of water to bring back the moisture. You can also switch things up by trying teriyaki or hoisin sauce for a different twist.
