Description
These Sausage Egg Cheddar Roll-Ups are a breakfast dream come true, golden, cheesy, and packed with savory goodness. Ideal for busy mornings or lazy brunches, they’re like a warm hug wrapped in flaky dough.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it browns.
- Whisk the eggs in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, then pour them into the pan with the sausage and scramble until just set.
- Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Unroll the crescent dough onto a greased baking sheet and press the seams together to form a rectangle.
- Place a scoop of the sausage-egg mixture onto each triangle and roll them up from the wide end. Seal the edges well.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Let them cool slightly before serving — if you can wait!
Notes
Avoid overfilling the dough to keep the roll-ups sealed while baking. For a fun twist, swap in your favorite cheese or add diced veggies like bell peppers or spinach.
