- 12 slider rolls (or mini bagels/slider buns)
- 1 cup pepperoni slices (or deli meats like ham or salami)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese blend)
- 1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or oregano/basil)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottoms into a baking dish, closely packed.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese over the sauce, then layer pepperoni or preferred toppings.
- Add the remaining cheese, then sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Cover with the top halves of the rolls and brush with olive oil.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake 10 more minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Let cool slightly before slicing into individual sliders. Serve with extra pizza sauce if desired.
Notes
Don’t overload the toppings to avoid sogginess. Let them rest a bit before slicing to keep everything together nicely.
