Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 8 slices crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 burger buns
- 1 cup lettuce leaves
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Cook bacon until crispy, chop into small pieces, and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, pineapple, bacon, onion, garlic, soy sauce, pepper, and salt until just combined.
- Divide mixture into six equal portions, shape into patties, and make a slight indentation in the center of each.
- Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat, cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- Toast burger buns on the grill during the last minute of cooking.
- Assemble by layering lettuce, burger patty, and mayonnaise (if desired) on the bun. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use cheddar or blue cheese for extra flavor. Canned pineapple works if drained well. Add jalapenos or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
