  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (60 grams)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and mix in cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Whisk in the eggs until smooth and fully combined.
  4. Fold in the flour gently until no streaks remain.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Butter or spray a 24-cup mini muffin pan. Fill each well with about 1.5 tablespoons of batter.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
