Pan Fried Salmon

  • Author: Navy Sinclair
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A crisp-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside salmon recipe that brings elegance to any table with minimal effort. Perfect for both weeknight dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets – about 6 ounces each (skin on recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or coconut oil for a twist)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon – zest and juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Place salmon skin-side down and press gently with a spatula. Cook for 4–5 minutes without moving.
  4. Flip the salmon carefully, add minced garlic, and cook for another 3–4 minutes until fully cooked and flaky.
  5. Add lemon zest and juice to the pan, stirring briefly to blend the flavors.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with dill or parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the skillet to ensure even cooking. Let the salmon rest for a minute before serving to lock in juices.
