Description
This no-bake Oreo Icebox Dessert is a crowd-pleasing classic that layers creamy whipped filling with milk-dipped Oreo cookies. It’s rich, indulgent, and incredibly easy to make, perfect for busy days or last-minute entertaining.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 packages of Oreo cookies (around 36 cookies)
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar together until soft peaks form, about 5–7 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream mixture until fully combined and fluffy.
- Quickly dip each Oreo into the milk (just a second or two), then line the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish with the cookies.
- Spread a layer of the cream mixture over the Oreos. Repeat with another layer of dipped Oreos, followed by more cream. Continue until you have three layers, ending with the cream on top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
Notes
Don’t soak the Oreos too long; just a quick dip will do. You can prepare this dessert a day ahead. For a twist, add chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or fruit between the layers.
