Description

This Nutella cake is a warm, indulgent treat that captures the essence of chocolate and hazelnut in every bite. Perfect for celebrations or sweet cravings, it’s simple to make and hard to resist.


Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Blend in Nutella until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry, mixing until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  5. Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Try adding a pinch of espresso powder to the batter to intensify the chocolate flavor. To go extra decadent, slice the cake in half and add a Nutella layer between.
