- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (or preferred candy)
- 1–2 tablespoons of milk (use almond or oat milk if dairy-free)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Gradually stir in the flour, mixing on low speed until just blended. Add milk one tablespoon at a time for a softer texture if needed.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips (or chosen mix-ins) using a spatula until well distributed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Once chilled and firm, enjoy your bites! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
