Flaky croissant rolls stuffed with gooey mozzarella and savory pepperoni, perfect as a fun appetizer, snack, or family meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated croissant dough (or puff pastry)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (mix with cheddar if desired)
- 1 cup pepperoni slices (or use salami/cooked sausage)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll croissant dough and cut each triangle in half if smaller rolls are desired.
- Place mozzarella and pepperoni at the base of each triangle, sprinkle Italian seasoning if using.
- Roll each triangle from base to tip and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush tops with beaten egg and bake 12-15 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Avoid overfilling rolls to prevent leakage. For extra flavor, sprinkle Parmesan on top before baking. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in a toaster oven for crispiness.
