- 1 cup buttermilk (or regular milk with a splash of vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or crushed crackers)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Remove chicken from marinade and coat each breast in breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle olive oil over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary to the coating. Can be prepped ahead and baked later. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
