Lavender Mint Refresher

  • Author: Navy Sinclair
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A soothing and refreshing floral mocktail made with fresh lavender and mint, perfect for hot afternoons or stylish gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh lavender flowers (culinary grade)
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup honey (or agave syrup)
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Ice cubes
  • Sparkling water (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Remove from heat and add the lavender flowers. Let steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the mint leaves to the pot and steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the solids. Stir in the honey while warm until fully dissolved.
  4. Let the liquid cool, then mix in the lemon juice.
  5. Serve over ice, top with sparkling water if desired, and garnish with fresh lavender and mint leaves.

Notes

For a stronger lavender flavor, let it steep longer, but not too long to avoid bitterness. You can prepare this ahead and store in the fridge for a few days. For an adult version, add a splash of gin or vodka.
