Description
Fire up the grill and savor the smoky, flaky perfection of this irresistible grilled salmon. Infused with zesty citrus and aromatic herbs, this dish is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser for weeknight dinners or weekend gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (around 6 oz each, skin on)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh lemon slices (for garnish)
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat your grill to medium-high. Clean and lightly oil the grates for a perfect sear.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top. Let it soak for 15 minutes, or longer for a deeper flavor.
- Grill the salmon skin-side down for 6–8 minutes. Flip carefully and cook another 4–6 minutes until it flakes easily.
- Let rest for a few minutes off the grill. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley before serving.
Notes
Marinate the salmon overnight for enhanced flavor. If using frozen fillets, make sure they’re fully thawed before grilling. You can double or halve the recipe depending on your crowd.
