Hot Honey Feta Chicken recipe

Hot Honey Feta Chicken

  • Author: Navy Sinclair
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

A sweet and spicy baked chicken dish that’s irresistibly creamy with the richness of feta and the bold flavor of hot honey. Perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs for a juicier option)
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup hot honey (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or basil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, hot honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create marinade.
  3. Add chicken to marinade and coat thoroughly. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Place marinated chicken in a baking dish and top with crumbled feta cheese.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) internally and feta is melty and slightly crisp.
  6. Let rest a few minutes after baking, then garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Add a pinch of cayenne for extra heat. Marinate ahead for deeper flavor. Easily adapted for grilling—just use a grill-safe pan for the feta topping.
