Description

Creamy Alfredo meets sweet and tangy hot honey balsamic in this unforgettable pasta dish. Tender chicken, rich sauce, and a hint of spice come together in perfect harmony for a comforting and impressive meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta (serves 6-8)
  • 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and diced
  • 1/2 cup hot honey balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or Pecorino for sharper flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook fettuccine until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken and hot honey balsamic vinegar. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to combine flavors.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and reduce heat to low. Stir in Parmesan gradually until melted and creamy.
  5. Toss pasta in the sauce until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker version. A little cream cheese can make the sauce even richer. Add spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
