Hot Fudge Brownie Recipe

  • Author: Navy Sinclair

Description

Who can resist a warm, gooey brownie with rich hot fudge swirled inside? This twist on the classic brownie brings comfort, nostalgia, and a whole lot of chocolatey goodness in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well between each, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly through the batter.
  5. Spread half the batter into the pan, then drizzle half the hot fudge sauce over it. Repeat with the remaining batter and fudge, swirling lightly with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!

Notes

Try adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top for enhanced flavor, or swirl in peanut butter with the fudge for a twist. Dark chocolate chips can replace semi-sweet for an even richer taste.
