Description

A refreshing, nutrient-packed smoothie made with real ingredients to support your body’s natural detox process.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 green apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime or lemon juice
  • 1/2 to 1 cup water, as needed

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the green apple.
  2. Measure out the frozen pineapple and banana.
  3. Peel and slice the fresh ginger.
  4. Layer the spinach, cilantro, fruits, ginger, and citrus juice into the blender.
  5. Pour in the water over the ingredients.
  6. Start blending on low, gradually increasing to high speed until smooth.
  7. Adjust by adding more water if the smoothie is too thick.

Notes

For a smoother blend, mince the ginger before blending if you do not have a high-speed blender. Prep smoothie packs by freezing the ingredients together for an easy grab-and-blend option.
