  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mushrooms and cook until golden and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until aromatic. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
  3. Build the sandwiches by layering sautéed mushrooms and cheese between two slices of bread.
  4. Warm a non-stick skillet on medium-low heat. Toast the sandwiches until the bread is golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the cheese is fully melted.
