Description
These Garlic Chili Oil Chicken Bites are spicy, garlicky, and incredibly easy to make. A quick and flavorful dish perfect for weeknights or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless (or chicken breasts)
- 3 tablespoons garlic chili oil (adjust to taste)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces for even cooking and better flavor absorption.
- In a bowl, whisk together the garlic chili oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and mix well. Let marinate for at least 20 minutes or up to an hour in the fridge.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of oil. Cook the marinated chicken in a single layer for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Stir the chicken midway through cooking to brown all sides evenly.
- Sprinkle chopped green onions over the chicken before serving and enjoy hot.
Notes
To avoid steaming instead of browning, don’t overcrowd the pan. Cook in batches if necessary. Watch the garlic carefully to prevent burning and bitterness.
