Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak – cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic – minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley – chopped for garnish
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon olive oil for searing

Instructions

  1. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper. Let rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add olive oil if using, then place steak bites in a single layer without crowding.
  3. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned but still juicy.
  4. Lower heat to medium, push steak to one side, and add butter and garlic to the other side. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Toss steak in garlic butter, then sprinkle with Parmesan. Let it melt briefly.
  6. Top with chopped parsley and serve right away.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak in garlic soy sauce ahead of time. A splash of red wine in the garlic butter also adds depth. Halve the ingredients for smaller servings.
