  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then add the diced onion and garlic. Sauté for about 3 minutes until the onion is soft.
  2. Mix in the uncooked macaroni, beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
