  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well mixed.
  3. Add the cold butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work it into the flour until the texture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the cheddar cheese and chives until evenly distributed.
