Brownie Truffles

Chocolate Brownie Truffles

  • Author: Navy Sinclair
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 24 truffles

Description

These chocolate brownie truffles are a rich and indulgent treat made from fudgy brownie bites coated in melted dark chocolate. Perfect for parties, gifts, or whenever that chocolate craving hits!

Ingredients

  • Brownies (use homemade or boxed)
  • Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
  • Coconut oil (helps create a smooth chocolate coating)
  • Optional: Sea salt
  • Optional: Chopped nuts
  • Optional: Cocoa powder
  • Optional: Sprinkles or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Prepare your brownies using your favorite recipe or a boxed mix. Make sure they are fudgy and slightly underbaked. Let them cool completely.
  2. Break the brownies into fine crumbs in a bowl, removing any large or hard edges.
  3. Scoop some of the brownie mixture and roll into small balls. Set them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15-second bursts, stirring each time, until fully smooth and melted.
  5. Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate to coat. Place back on the baking sheet and quickly add your chosen toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
  6. Let the truffles set at room temperature or place in the fridge for 15 minutes until firm.

Notes

To mix it up, try swirling in peanut butter, adding a touch of espresso powder, or hiding a bit of caramel inside each ball. Store them in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 3 months!
