Description
These chocolate brownie truffles are a rich and indulgent treat made from fudgy brownie bites coated in melted dark chocolate. Perfect for parties, gifts, or whenever that chocolate craving hits!
Ingredients
- Brownies (use homemade or boxed)
- Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
- Coconut oil (helps create a smooth chocolate coating)
- Optional: Sea salt
- Optional: Chopped nuts
- Optional: Cocoa powder
- Optional: Sprinkles or edible glitter
Instructions
- Prepare your brownies using your favorite recipe or a boxed mix. Make sure they are fudgy and slightly underbaked. Let them cool completely.
- Break the brownies into fine crumbs in a bowl, removing any large or hard edges.
- Scoop some of the brownie mixture and roll into small balls. Set them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15-second bursts, stirring each time, until fully smooth and melted.
- Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate to coat. Place back on the baking sheet and quickly add your chosen toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
- Let the truffles set at room temperature or place in the fridge for 15 minutes until firm.
Notes
To mix it up, try swirling in peanut butter, adding a touch of espresso powder, or hiding a bit of caramel inside each ball. Store them in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 3 months!
