Description
These Crispy Air Fryer Baby Potatoes are golden, crunchy, and incredibly easy to make. A delicious side that works perfectly with almost any main dish or even as a snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds baby potatoes, washed and halved (you can use regular potatoes cut into chunks)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter for richer flavor)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (fresh garlic can be used as an alternative)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (adds a warm, smoky depth)
- 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse and halve the baby potatoes to ensure even cooking and full flavor.
- In a bowl, mix the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Toss well to coat thoroughly.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for best crisping results.
- Place the potatoes in the basket in a single layer, leaving some space between each. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even browning.
- Once golden and crispy, remove the potatoes and top with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket, as this will prevent them from crisping properly. Shake halfway through cooking to get that beautiful even texture. For extra fun, try sprinkling with parmesan or turning them into loaded potato bites with cheese and bacon!
