Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound of gnocchi
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they rise to the top, about 2–3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds, being careful not to brown it.
  3. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook them in the skillet for 3–4 minutes until pink and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer briefly. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth.
  5. Return the gnocchi and shrimp to the skillet, stirring gently to coat everything with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, sprinkled with chopped parsley for a burst of freshness.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the shrimp to keep them juicy. For added depth, stir in a dash of red pepper flakes with the garlic. Leftovers stay good in the fridge for up to 3 days, just add a splash of cream or broth when reheating.
