Description
A comforting yet flavorful pasta dish where juicy chicken meets a rich, sweet-savory garlic cream sauce, perfect for easy weeknight dinners that feel special.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced (or use thighs for extra tenderness)
- 8 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine preferred)
- 3 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup as a swap)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to season
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil the pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm olive oil. Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–7 minutes until fully cooked and golden.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until aromatic.
- Drizzle in honey, stirring to coat the chicken. Pour in heavy cream and let it gently simmer.
- Return the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat in the creamy honey garlic sauce.
- Serve immediately, topped with chopped parsley for color and freshness.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes with the garlic if you enjoy heat. Leftovers store well in the fridge and reheat beautifully. Try swapping the chicken with shrimp or tofu for variety.
