- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the penne according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the onions in a splash of oil until translucent (about 5 minutes), then add garlic and cook another minute.
- Add mushrooms and cook until they’re browned and tender, around 5–7 minutes.
- Turn up the heat to medium-high and add sliced beef. Cook until browned on all sides, about 4–5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes to develop flavor.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the sour cream. Let it warm through without bringing it to a boil to maintain the creamy consistency.
- Add the cooked penne into the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve hot, topped with chopped parsley for a fresh finish.
