- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Mix in the softened cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
- Add eggs one by one, mixing after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
- Scoop out heaping tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges turn lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Avoid overmixing your dough to keep cookies soft. Letting them cool on the sheet helps set their shape. Parchment paper is your cleanup friend!
