- 8 ounces spaghetti (or your choice of pasta)
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh, canned, or frozen)
- 1 cup frozen peas (or fresh)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or a cheese blend)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 fresh minced cloves)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix chicken, mushrooms, peas, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and chicken broth. Stir in cream and half the Parmesan cheese.
- Add the spaghetti and toss until coated evenly.
- Spread the mixture into the baking dish. Top with remaining Parmesan and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until the topping is golden and bubbly. Rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Cook pasta just until al dente so it holds up during baking. Don’t skip the breadcrumb topping for that perfect crunch!
