Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 12 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, mix the chia seeds and water. Stir thoroughly to avoid clumps. Let sit for 10–15 minutes until the seeds form a gel-like texture.
  2. Add lemon juice and sweetener if using, and adjust to taste.
  3. Stir again and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors combine.
  4. Serve cold over ice with fresh mint leaves for garnish.

Notes
