  • Author: Navy Sinclair
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings 1x

Description

These irresistible Candied Bacon BLT Sliders blend crispy, sweet bacon with the fresh crunch of lettuce and tomato, making them a hit for any occasion from parties to cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound bacon (turkey bacon can be used for a lighter version)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder (optional)
  • 12 slider buns or mini burger buns
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with foil. Arrange bacon slices on the sheet.
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, black pepper, and optional chili powder. Sprinkle over bacon.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is crispy and caramelized. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  4. Let bacon cool slightly. Meanwhile, spread mayo on each bun half.
  5. Cut bacon if needed. Layer bacon, tomato slices, and lettuce on the bottom buns, then top with the other halves.

Notes

Add a slice of avocado for an extra creamy texture. To scale up for a crowd, simply double the ingredients. For a unique dip, mix bacon drippings with BBQ sauce.
