Description

A flavor-packed comfort dish featuring juicy steak bites, rich Cajun cream sauce, and pasta that absorbs all the bold, spicy goodness. Perfect for both cozy nights and impressive dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into small pieces
  • 8 ounces penne or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and half the Cajun seasoning. Sear until browned, about 3–4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened, around 5 minutes. Add remaining Cajun seasoning and cook 1 more minute.
  4. Reduce heat and pour in heavy cream. Let it simmer to thicken slightly. Return steak to skillet and stir well.
  5. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat in sauce. Let sit over low heat for a couple of minutes to combine flavors.
  6. Serve hot, topped with fresh parsley. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the cream sauce. Easily halve or double this recipe depending on your needs. Swap steak for chicken or shrimp for variety. For a lighter option, use half-and-half or substitute pasta with zoodles or whole grain versions.
