- 4 large croissants
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced cooked ham or cooked bacon
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh herbs (chives or parsley)
- Butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cook eggs until softly scrambled, about 5–7 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Slice croissants in half. Layer bottom halves with ham or bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheese, then top with other halves.
- Place sandwiches on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until cheese melts.
- Top with fresh herbs and serve warm.
Notes
Avoid overcooking eggs; they will finish cooking in the oven. You can prepare these sandwiches ahead of time and refrigerate overnight before baking.
