Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 cup fresh banana slices
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in mini marshmallows until smooth and fully melted.
  2. Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk banana pudding mix with cold milk. Let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
  4. Blend in the whipped topping with the thickened pudding mixture until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gently fold in the banana slices.
  6. In a greased 9×13-inch pan, press half of the Rice Krispies mix into an even layer. Spread the banana pudding mixture over the top, then finish with the remaining Rice Krispies. Press gently.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.

Notes

Let the treats chill fully before slicing to help them hold together. For added flavor, try a drizzle of caramel or crushed graham crackers on top.
