- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 cup fresh banana slices
- 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in mini marshmallows until smooth and fully melted.
- Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk banana pudding mix with cold milk. Let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
- Blend in the whipped topping with the thickened pudding mixture until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the banana slices.
- In a greased 9×13-inch pan, press half of the Rice Krispies mix into an even layer. Spread the banana pudding mixture over the top, then finish with the remaining Rice Krispies. Press gently.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
Notes
Let the treats chill fully before slicing to help them hold together. For added flavor, try a drizzle of caramel or crushed graham crackers on top.
