Baked Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

  • Author: Navy Sinclair
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 8 crescents 1x

Description

These savory and creamy baked sausage crescents are an irresistible snack or appetizer. Easy to prepare and packed with flavor, they’re a crowd-pleaser for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces)
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (can substitute with ground turkey or chicken)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (regular or light)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or preferred blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain the fat.
  3. Mix the cooked sausage with cream cheese, shredded cheese, and garlic powder in a bowl until smooth and combined.
  4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spoon sausage filling onto the wide end and roll toward the point.
  5. Place each roll on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Avoid overstuffing to keep the crescents from bursting during baking. A tablespoon of filling per crescent works well.
