Description
There’s something special about tender crab legs baked to perfection and drizzled with a bright, buttery lemon sauce. This easy-to-make seafood dish brings restaurant-worthy flavor to your home kitchen with little effort. It’s perfect for celebrations or a luxurious weekend treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of snow crab legs (thawed if frozen)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Arrange thawed crab legs on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Generously pour the lemon butter sauce over the crab legs. Save some for dipping if desired.
- Cover the crab legs with another piece of foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Uncover, transfer to a serving platter, drizzle with reserved sauce, and garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
Don’t overcook the crab legs — they’re already pre-cooked, so you’re just reheating them. For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce. Leftovers? Use them in crab cakes or try grilling them for a smoky twist.
